From beginning to end the stay at Alden was excellent. Staff was very attentive and helpful, from main lobby to the breakfast staff. Our room was beautiful, with a small terrace, nice bedroom and living room, awesome bathroom (shower and tub). Location is very good, close to the lake and attractions. Recommended!

Overall the hotel is high-class level, welcome drink is thoughtful when we get into the hotel. we loved the drink as much fruits and we tasted very fresh. The restaurant place of decoration is elegant. We loved the building decoration and this is the one of history. The room size we booked this is fantastic and everything well prepared and we loved it so much. This is just one thing we feel laborious and helpless when we arrived at the hotel entrance. We ideal the entrance is level but stairsteps here in the entrance. The main point is the most of traveler carrying the luggage and they felt tried after the travel and they don't think to move their big luggage again even her is the few stairsteps.

Beautiful hotel with warm and friendly staff.The location is perfect as it's only 10 minutes walk from the city centre but far enough away to have a quiet rest. We were upgraded to a fabulous room, adding to the stay and rest we needed. Everyone from the people at the reception to the servers and general staff were polite,friendly, welcoming, accommodating and it is definitely a hotel that will be a must on our list when we visit again......The team at the hotel felt like family without losing the need to be professional.....Thanks to everybody who welcomed us......Very best Samuel &. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here. Immediately welcomed by warm staff, our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We loved having coffee on the balcony every morning. The location is perfect and close enough where everything is walking distance but without being in the heart of the crowds. Katrina from the front desk radiates kindness and made us feel at home from the second we met her. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!!

Thank you so much for the most incredible stay! My husband and I came to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary, and this hotel completely exceeded our expectations! It was the most beautiful hotel in a great location. Ivan and Kaltrina were AMAZING and give us the absolute best service on a daily basis! It’s hard to book a hotel coming from another country, and not knowing what to expect. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The cleaning and bar staff were wonderful as well. The only reason I gave our room an 8 rating was because our peep hole in the door was unusable (for safety reasons. I did not like this)

Pleasant a. quiet area to stay. A long walk into the city centre for older travellers. The tram was excellent a. well located near the hotel. The dinner menu was limited in choice a. expensive. The staff made our stay extremely pleasant. As in all hotel rooms inadequate stands for two people’s suitcases therefore using couches a. tables which I feel uncomfortable doing as I respect the furnishings.

Kaltarina made the last days of our honeymoon so memorable and meaningful. From the moment we walked into Hotel Alden, she was beaming with energy and excited to welcome us in. She was very professional yet somehow, made us feel right at home. She was very thorough with explaining the hotel amenities and helping us navigate Zurich public transportation. She gave us multiple restaurant recommendations as well as chocolate recommendations since this was our first time in Zurich. Every morning, the breakfast staff was full of energy, so kind and, attentive to our needs. We were always served in a timely manner and again, felt like we were staying with our own family. Every time we entered the building, reception would stop what they were doing to greet us and make us feel right at home. Hotel Alden exceeded our expectations as a hotel, we are so excited to choose them when we come back to visit.

Our stay was short - just 2 nights - room was outstanding - service was great. My only issue was that one of my wife's bracelet was thrown away - It was in a glass on the cabinet below the TV in the bedroom. It was not very expensive - however we bought it in Italy - the day it disappeared - we talked with the receptionist on duty - we gave them a picture and a detail location where it was last seen in the room. We where told there was only one person in our room that day to make it up and that they would talk to them and get back to us. To date - no one has called or emailed us - The lack of follow up with us is Very Disappointing - when we where told someone would call us.

Everything was great except the TV did not work . We were only able to watch one or two channels. In addition, The TV in the bedroom was a little difficult to figure out how to eliminate the light from the screen when we turned it off . Perhaps instructions could be offered . We eventually figured it out but it took a while . Also , it would be nice if you offered an English language newspaper in the lobby but I don’t know if you receive enough English speaking guests to warrant it . And I would have liked the Zurich book in the room to be in English as well as German . But over all , I am happy we chose your hotel .

This place was really spectacular from when I walked in the door. The location is really convenient but off the usual path, the facilities are quite comfortable but it’s the staff that truly made this an amazing stay. There is no gym on premises but the partner gym is close, convenient and better than any hotel gym could put together. I do wish there was an ala-carte breakfast option. All I wanted was something light but that’s not an option. Did not detract and I’m looking forward to staying again soon.

We really enjoy our stay. The hotel has everything needed to ensure great vacation in Zurich: excellent location, great staff, spacious and cozy rooms.

Had a lovely stay in this stylish boutique hotel. Our suite was huge and had everything we needed and more - loads of room ! Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again on a trip to Zurich

The hotel was well situated, the room was amazing and everything worked. What makes this hotel so special is the people who work there, the lady that booked us in was so wonderful, it was as if she was a long lost friend and made us feel beyond special. The doorman was amazing, his interaction with us was one of service and care. his interaction with the reception lady was amazing and between the two we could have spent more time just bantering with them. The entrance foyer, lounge are and breakfast room were amazing and warm. Look forward to visiting again.

The entire experience was incredible from the moment we walked in. We felt so special and welcome all day, every day when we were at the hotel. We are now comparing our experience at Alden Hotel to other hotels as the level of hospitality is tough to compare to now since Alden treated us like such special guests. Thank you all!

I stayed for just one night but was made to feel like it was home. The reception team couldn’t have been more delightful, and housekeeping made sure I had everything I needed. I recommend the hotel highly.

Excellent staff, great room space. Awesome view from the room (our room was in the first floor and we also had a balcony). Breakfeast were very good. Haven’t fresh fruits but duo to distance, were very good. The team was always helpful giving tips about places to go and see. The hotel has a local transportation pass for our stay which made our trips to cities and mountains nearby very easy. The room needs an upgrade. Still in the late 80’s and the air conditioning system made us suffer with the heat during our stay, but beside that, the hotel is gigantic, there’s a lot of space and the sauna space on the top was absolutely gorgeous. Planning to return in next vacations

We were surprised to see the size of the rooms that were a part of our suite. It had more than enough storage space for our clothes and other items we brought with us. Any time we asked about something, the staff was more than happy to oblige with a smile on their face. We ate breakfast at the hotel each day, and the star employee was Hadia. She always had a smile and was such a joy in the morning, we looked forward to seeing her every day because she couldn't do enough for you. You want a cappuccino cup, but filled with Americano? No problem. You don't see the juice you want on the table, she would check to see if there was any available. She is very good at her job (as are all your people). We also enjoyed being able to meet Chef Martin. We had someone in our party who must eat gluten free and he came out of the kitchen and discussed options with her, and in the end it worked out very well. We thought his creativity was remarkable and were especially impressed with his strawberry-rhubarb compote with vanilla ice cream for desert. It was well executed. The dining room manager was also very attentive and helpful, not only for his guidance on the food menu, but his additional guidance on visiting other cities. If we had to point out any negatives, I would say that the shower was a bit finicky when i came to setting the temperature. It would be very cold at first and we would turn the know further to hot and it came out so hot it was almost scalding. It took a while each day to mover the knob in tiny increments so we were neither burned nor subjected to very cold water. There were some inconsistencies in servicing the room, mostly related to the in-room coffee maker. Some days only two creamers were left, and we preferred to each have two per person. We also found that on a couple of days our dirty coffee cups were not collected and replaced with clean ones. My wife found the rooms too hot which made it difficult for her to sleep, even when we turned the A/C on. I found the room very comfortable, but that is the way it is at home. She's too hot, and I'm fine (or even cold). I would say if that's all we had to complain about, we had an exceptional stay! Thanks so much for your find hospitality!

A very beautiful and clean hotel situated at a quiet part of town and in very close proximity to the corporate office in Zurich.

Our short stay at Alden Hotel was perfect! Personnel was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Food delicious. Room size is outstanding, it is more like a full-size apartment rather than junior suite. Location is very convenient for both business and tourism purposes, very center of Zurich, just 200-300 m from the lake. Quiet and safe. I do recommend Alden Hotel! Will be definitely my destination at Zurich during next trip.
